the solitude
in landscape, unpopulated I yearn
loneliness
what do people mean to me
why people for me
comfort of nature, before man, comfort
sea land air, the exhilaration lasting
but muted
fear
caution
worries
no exuberant nature, bursting forth
nor effervescent, shiny, glossy
but still
the desert
sand
wood
bleached
washed up, discarded, squashed flat
traces of nature, husks, remains
traces of civilisation, debris
the end or beginning
think too hard
now...loneliness
my loneliness
but I smile
